In the frozen tundra of ND it is important to dress in layers so you stay a decent temp running to your car, taking your dog outside or seeing the wearther report. It's also handy for when you're done doing said things and start to feel sweaty and need a two second respite from the overwhelming heat of 30 layers. I wish I had a sweater with temp control so I wouldn't have to sweat it. :)
