Winter storm warning?

It's been gorgeous the past week-week and a half.  Then I wake up this morning to news that from now until Saturday we are in a winter storm warning.  Really?!  It is the middle of April, I just raked up part of the yard and my tulips are coming up!  I don't want to deal with any more snow.  Plus the kids have gotten the 'let's go outside' bug and I'd hate to nip it again because it snowed.  :(  Grrrr.
